“You don’t choose the times you live in but you do choose who you want to be and you do choose how you want to think.”

— Grace Lee Boggs

This quote above speaks to the lifelong journey that I’m on -- consciously understanding and creating/re-creating my relationship to myself, to others and to the world and choosing to live into my values each day.

As the daughter of refugees from Vietnam, I strive to carry on the work of those who came before me -- genetic and otherwise, those who set the example for what transformation can look like. I won’t apologize for the space I inhabit.

While I am not defined by the places I’ve worked, titles I’ve had, institutions I’ve been educated in, they’ve been part of the unique pathway that will ultimately lead me to where I’m supposed to be.

I am a racial equity and leadership strategist, coach, learning and development designer, and former early childhood educator; in these roles, I have seen the power of what it means for people to experience transformative growth and change.

I believe in the interconnected nature and purpose of all things -- like you, for example, coming to explore this site. What meaning might we make of it?
